Unfortunately, it seems unlikely that Konami would add any other additional content, including the incomplete ending that was cut from the main game due to time and budget constraints. Updated on UPDATE 30/8/16 10.45am Konami has now officially confirmed the previously-spotted Metal Gear Solid 5 Definitive Edition. While no details can be found on the page itself, Eurogamer speculates that the Definitive Edition could include Ground Zeroes and various DLCs, as well as the main game itself, The Phantom Pain. On the page, which has since been taken down, list a release date of October 30th, but could be just a placeholder date. The report comes from Eurogamer who spotted a retail listing for the Metal Gear Solid 5 collection over at Amazon Japan and German retailer NetGames. It looks like Konami hasn’t completely given up on the Metal Gear Solid series as reports have emerged of a definitive edition for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain could be coming.
